German
Beginners – A1
In this course, you will learn the basics of the German language, with a focus on ‘communication whilst travelling’. Asking for directions, placing an order, understanding what time it is – after this course, that will no longer be a problem.
The standard course comprises thirty lessons of one and a half hours each, and we also set homework. After these lessons, you will be able to find your way around in Germany at the airport, on the street, in a hotel, in a restaurant, etc.
Of course, all kinds of tailor-made solutions are possible. Please feel free to contact us at any time to discuss this.
Beginners – up to A2
This course is aimed at people who have little knowledge of German and wish to be able to cope with everyday situations at school, on a business trip, on holiday or at work within a relatively short period of time.
The lessons focus on communicative language skills: speaking comfortably without fear of speaking, and ensuring clear pronunciation. Furthermore, great emphasis is placed on listening and reading comprehension, as well as on the most important grammatical topics.
All programmes allow for your own input, ensuring that the lessons are optimally tailored to your personal learning needs.
Advanced – from B1
Do you already have a good command of German but would like to improve it further? Then the German course for advanced learners is just right for you.
In this course, we will practise speaking, writing and listening using topics that you can suggest yourself. We build on your existing language skills and ensure that they are consolidated. We place great emphasis on understanding the German language and consolidate your grammar in every session so that you can speak the language fluently.
Intensive course
This course consists of one week of lessons, with four to six hours of tuition per day, depending on your needs, during which we speak as much German as possible.
We will decide on the content of the intensive course together. We offer tailor-made solutions that meet your ambitions and requirements. If you wish, this course can also be extended by one or more weeks.

The intensive course can only take place on-site in South Limburg. Either at Rolduc Abbey in Kerkrade, on the border with Herzogenrath in Germany, or at C-Mill in Heerlen, the location of the Maas-Rhine School.
